Auctioneer’s Note

Ken Keopplinger has been a carpenter, craftsmen, and restoration expert for 40+ years. He is well known for extensive and detailed historic home restorations and remodeling projects. He has recently decided to scale back his operation. Over the years he has accumulated a tremendous amount tools, equipment  and various other items. This is a great opportunity to purchase high quality, well taken care of items.

1956 Huber Fassmer Lifeboat

1956 Huber Fassmer Lifeboat 33 ft. w/ pulpit. Original German lifeboat customized to personal launch. Boat was designed to be unsinkable. Boat was restored with galvanized steel hull blasted, 60lbs of zinc dust / polimer applied covered by epoxy coal tar. 900lb 2 cylinder HupeH Commercial Marine Diesel 21hp. Holds 45 gallons fuel. Uses less than a gallon an hour. Full displacement Hull. Full 1.5 tubular steel rail / canopy framework. 24ft custom canopy. Full wrap around cushions and bumpers. (12) 3x3x2 buoyancy chambers. All pictures are current. Boat was always kept in a covered slip on the Chesapeake Bay. Coast Guard Inspected. Trailer included. (reserve item)
